Develop the artist inside you with Right Edge Art’s teen art classes tailored for beginners from age 10.
All children are artists but we tend to lose our artistic confidence around ages 10 to 12 when our inner critic wakes up. Fortunately this is also the age when our fine motor skills start to mature and we develop the ability to understand more complex concepts enabling us to learn proper art techniques and build proper artistic skills.
Our in-person classes for teens will help you develop and mature your inner artist, build artistic skill and confidence. A cool bonus is that making art will help you escape from school and exam stress and give your brain a much needed reset once per week.
Our teen classes are only 1.5 hours long because school life is busy.
What you can expect:

Class times to chose from:
Teen group classes are on Saturdays 11:30 to 13:00 or Wednesdays 16:00 to 17:30.
Teen private classes are arranged for a set time of 1.5 hour on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 14:30 and 18:00.
Teen online classes are one-on-one classes on Teams or WhatsApp video call. A list of what you will need to start is provided on enrolment.
Fee options:
All class fees are paid monthly in advance. In person classes at the studio include supplies available in class.
Teen group classes:
2 classes per month – R800 per month
4 classes per month (including a free fifth class in longer months) – R1520 per month
Teen private classes:
Teen private classes are arranged for a set 1.5 hour every week on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday between 14:30 and 18:00.
2 classes per month – R900 per month
4 classes per month (including a free fifth class in longer months) – R1710 per month
Teen online classes for your convenience:
– Online classes are one-on-one on Teams or WhatsApp video call. A list of what you will need to start is provided on enrolment. Online classes are arranged for a set 2 hours every week on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday between 14:30 and 18:00. –
2 classes per month – R700 per month
4 classes per month (including a free fifth class in longer months) – R1330 per month
